Serving Memphis.
Growing Hope.
DJ's Heart is a faith-driven ministry reaching the unsheltered on Memphis streets and cultivating food security through community gardening and education.
Serving the unsheltered in Memphis, TN
"Every person deserves dignity — and every community deserves to be fed."
DJ's Heart operates on two fronts: we go where the need is greatest — the streets, the shelters, the forgotten corners of our city — and we grow where hope takes root. Our community garden isn't just about vegetables. It's about teaching families how to feed themselves, building resilience, and showing Memphis that food security is possible right here in our own neighborhoods.

The Garden Program
Growing Food. Building Community.
Our community garden is more than a plot of land — it's a classroom, a gathering place, and a lifeline. We teach families how to grow their own food, host workshops on nutrition and food preservation, and distribute fresh produce to those who need it most.
There's a Place for You Here
